Good quality case but it does not fit S5600! - 25 Jan 2007

The actual quality of the case is very good. Unfortunately, I was misled by the other reviewer who claimed that this case fits the S5600. It does not! This case is way too small to slot in the S5600. After a bit of research, this case is actually meant for the S3500 / S3000 / S304 series of cameras. Hopefully this will stop other people from making the same error I did.

I bought this case for my S5500 and it fits exactly, even with the adapter tube fitted to the camera. I believe that the S5600 is a similar size so guess that this case would work for that camera too.
It is very well put together from a leatherette type material, with a sturdy strap and a small pocket on the from big enough to take a couple of spare Xd cards in their protective cases. The door at the back of the case is fastened with two zips, one on each side, with a velcro patch at the free end. The padding is quite thick/sturdy and i feel that my camera is well protected by this case.
Like the earlier reviewer pointed out, the case is not really big enough for my S20 Pro, which is the same size as an S7000. It will just fit at a pinch, but it is the wrong shape and clearly wasn't designed for these models. It certainly wouldn't be possible to get the camera out in a hurry for that 'once-in-a-lifetime' photo opportunity (although the shutter lag with any of these cams can be problematic in these circumstances!).
Finally, I found the price from Amazon to be cheaper than any of the competition.

This is a high quality soft leather case - it looks great. However, on Amazon it sounds like it fits all Fujifilm cameras - be aware it does not. My camera is a S7000, and this case is much too small. Funny thing is that this looks exactly the same as the S7000 case on the Fujifilm website so looks can deceive!
