Bought a few years ago and has worked faultlessly ever since with an IXUS camera and a Dell PDA.

This card worked a treat in my Kodak CX4200 camera and has increased the memory beyond anything I was hoping for at the Viking price.

This review is for people looking for a card to use in a digital camera.
CF card performance -- that is, how quickly you can save or retrieve a photo -- varies according to the camera. Some cameras just "get on better" with particular makes of card. You won't know in advance how well this card will perform for you, unless you're lucky enough to find a review which specifically tested the Viking card with your model of camera. You can sometimes find these reviews on the net or in digital camera magazines.
What you can know, though, is that in these tests Viking cards are normally within a few percentage points of the top performers. Also, they're very cheap. Don't be misled into believing that you have to buy a CF card from a top camera manufacturer to get good performance. In truth the tests show that expensive branded cards often perform much worse than the far cheaper Viking types.
I've been delighted with this card's performance in my camera (a Canon G2, for what it's worth) and have no hesitation in recommending it. But it's wise to buy a smallish card (like this 64MB one) first, rather than forking out for a huge one; that way, you can test out the Viking brand in your own camera and check for yourself how it compares.

Works perfectly with the HP Jornada 525... I'd recommend buying this if, like me, you've got the base-spec Jornada. I read above and spotted someone reporting slow access times on these cards; don't believe it. I can watch short films, play mp3's etc. etc. perfectly; certainly no slow-downs to report. And as for price? The cheapest I've seen yet!
Works great with HP 548 - 28 Aug 2001
