its not the fastest bluetooth adapter in the world but its the cheapest (that i've seen) its really small and does the trick for transfering things to and from mobile phones... it works great will all my sony ericsson phones, even allowing me to file the files on my phone via windows explorer (in other words see the contents of my phone on the computer)

only had a problem with a NEC 616 phone... it would fine the phone but denied tranfers

its well worth buying!

As i have only ever used this device i have nothing to compare it to< but wow! for the money its great, pics mp3s to and from a K700. cant go wrong....

This bluetooth adaptor is great i think. As soon i had installed the software i was instantly downloading music and pictures to my samsung d500, it was great. The only slight problem is the transfer is a bit slow but other than that everything is working and fine. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to transfer msuic, pictures or whatever to their mobile, pda etc.

I bought this gagdet some time ago, and have decided to review it after using it for a while. I found that this great piece of kit has made bluetooth transfer of all my contacts, files and pictures from my Nokia 6230 a piece of cake, and also transferring other data between the two an absolute delight! This is worth its asking price, and although the software proves a little tricky, it will load after an attempt or two. It seems to work from a very good distance, i have been in another room, and still be able to transfer files. overall, a great device and good purchase - recommended!

Ok, this may sound similar to other reviews, but here goes.
The dongle itself is brilliant for the money, and does all that a average user(thats me)needs. The Blue light was a little distracting, but a quick swap means it is now at the back of my machine and works to a good few metres away (more than you need).
The problem for me has been the software, which dispite many attempts and re-readings of the manual (useless to say the least!) will not install without causing problems.
A-will not install at all.
B-installs but with errors and is sloowwww to transfere.
or worst c-installs, but then wont work at all! then prevents windows own file transfere wizard working,causes a annoying 'new hardware found' message to appear many many times at start up.
I have now totaly unistalled the software and using windows sp2 transfere wizard to swap files from my k700i and laptop 1 file at a time!
buy for the dongle-use another piece of software!
