Gorgeous design, large disk space, and quick response.
This beauty is has saved my life and a lot of memmories. My Laptop crashed during my third year of uni, during which I was in the final stages of writing my dissertation. A lifesaver.
Plug and play.
It gets a bit warm at times but has yet to crash on me (knock on wood). Could be used as a radiator in the winter perhaps :-P
The 200GB+ I have filled it with are read by the computer faster than it takes to read my 60GB iPod, which always impresses me.
Only negative: Dust attaches to it easily and I have yet to find a good way of removing it. A dustcloth only deposits more dust onto the device due to the sandpaper like finish/texture of the metal casing.
It's a very sturdy device and I do travel with it so it has been tested. Maybe slightly heavy but I have nothing to compare with. At least you'll feel it's weight missing if you loose it.
It did not read correctly when connected through a USB hub, but I'm not sure which device is to blame for that.
A bit pricey perhaps, but more reliable than a laptop.
The little blue button doesn't do much as the device starts up automatically if connected to a USB port. If you wish to disconnect it before shutting the computer off than the blue button serves a purpose, otherwise it's just a pretty blue light.
