Was really hoping to prove the previous reviewer wrong, as most of my USB devices run off their own power supplies. But seeing how inserting this card turns off my PC as surely as hitting the power button, I can't even try!
If I ever find out how to get it working, I'll post another review. But until/unless that day comes, the best I can do is warn you off!

If you want to use more than 1 usb port at the same time you shouldn't consider this card as an option. It hasn't got a DC adapter supplied. Moreover, i couldn't connect my ipod or external HDD to it since the card has got inadequate power supply to work with it. The only item that did work was my mouse!
If you want a true usb 2.0 buy a card with a DC adaptor provided.
