Great value for a quality wireless notebook - 22 Jan 2005

I've owned an nx7010 for a year and it's been excellent. I'm an IT contractor and use it daily for my business. It's fast, has a great wide screen, and oozes quality. It is also thin and light, which means you don't break your back carrying the thing to work.
The centrino chip is great because it increases the battery life to about 5 hours and the power pack is the smallest I've seen. The only thing that has gone wrong was the CD writer stopped working, but this was replaced quickly by HP's excellent support.
I certainly recommend buying from HP, mainly because of the quality and support. Before buying my nx7010, I'd ordered a Dell Lattitude. However, after several weeks of phone calls to Dell's offshore support, I sent that back because it had several build quality issues that they failed to fix.
